NEXANS KABELMETAL GHANA LIMITED MARKED SAFETY DAY WITH CALL FOR EMPLOYEES TO PERSONALIZE SAFETY

The management and staff of Nexans Kabelmetal Ghana Limited came together to mark this year’s safety day with series of activities that focused on educating and informing employees on the importance of safety as part of everyday business of the company.

This year’s celebration on the theme “Safety Starts With Me”, was another opportunity to drum home the critical need for employees to take safety of lives and properties very seriously and to work hard towards achieving zero accident in the work environment.
World Safety Day is marked annually by all Nexans companies and subsidiaries across all countries. This year’s celebration created the opportunity to train all employees on the fourteen golden rules. These rules, the company believe are key to the safety aspirations of the company.

The Managing Director of Nexans Kabelmetal Ghana Limited Dr. Eric Waldner admonished all staffs to take their own safety seriously; and always try to remind one another of the golden rules. He affirmed that management will enforce strictly all safety policies and rules and will not renege to punish anybody who is seen violating any of them.
